Made up of nine unique Portuguese islands, they’ll surprise you and give you the chance to live an amazing nature’s experience.
Between signs of volcanic activity, unpredictable weither, natural swimming pools and so on, the Azores should be visited before mass tourism does.

General information

Those nine islands naturally formed three groups: the Eastern Group, comprising Santa Maria and São Miguel, the Central Group, including Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial, and the Western Group, composed by Corvo and Flores.

By their location, the Azores has a maritime climate. Summers are warm and winters are mild. Temperatures are ranging from 28° in summers to 10° in winters. In other words it’s a comfortable weather to live. One of the main characteristic is the variety of the weather conditions within one day. We used to say that if you don’t like the weather, you just have to wait 10 minutes.
