Crossing the island on foot in a day can be done in a relaxed way, passing through some of the most emblematic places. In the recent past, people went from ‘Praia da Vitória’ to ‘Angra do Heroísmo’ by walking, and it wasn’t a problem at all. The island, despite its generous size, has a human scale and it allows us to cross smoothly the distances that seem unattainable.
